What Donation Are you Making With Your Life?
"Pastor Casey Wolverton - Glenvale Seventh-day Adventist Church"

I remember learning in school about an animal that had a similar name to mine - the wolverine. In some places it’s known simply as glutton. That’s because it eats anything and everything in its path - plants, rodents, birds, mammals large and small, dead or alive. They’ve even been known to take down a moose, an animal twenty times it’s weight! For all of it’s 7-12 years of life, the wolverine does little else but pursue, devour and consume.
By contrast, people weren’t created to simply consume resources, indulge their appetites and die. The Bible teaches that human beings were designed to make a positive difference in the world. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Jesus Christ, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
I like the way Rick Warren puts it in The Purpose Driven Life, “ What matters is not the duration of your life, but the donation of it.”
