The wonder of belonging

The bible was never meant to be a manual: its message is all about Immanuel. Christ came to be the light to shine in the darkness of our lostness. Jesus said “I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me will not remain in darkness." (John 14:26).

Its all about the coming of Christ into our human existence so that the triune God would share their dance of life with us in our human existence. G.K Chesterton (the Christian author) said one word expresses the Christian life “Union”. We read Acts 17:28 that says “In Him we live and move and have our being”. For all eternity He lives out His sonship as a human being. Jesus shares in the great dance as a man, as our mediator, in union with us.

Colossians 1:27 “Christ in you, the hope of Glory.” This is why we love life so. The fundamental character of Christian Faith is that of discovery. “Faith” (said Luther) “does not create what is sees; it sees what is there. Faith is discovering that in Jesus we were adopted, welcomed by the Father Almighty, recreated and entered into the circle of life.

We have joined the dance of life with our God.
