God is For You
Ps Ken Wooton, Highlands Church

The author of the book of Matthew puts forth a way to build your life, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” The missing piece of many people’s puzzle is the God piece. I’m surprised that when people are involved in disaster, they cry out to God to save them. What if we simply included God in every aspect of our life?
In the world that we live in today, faith has become essential for many people. It is a foundation, a building block on which our culture and communities are founded.
King Solomon penned a thought in the book Proverbs “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” I have found that many people live in a state of anxiety and worry. They have lost hope. There is something compelling about having a desire or a dream and a vision. It places something before you that’s bigger than the fear around you. Take the time to consider that God is for you and not against you.
