Generosity & Gratitude

God loves it when the giver delights in the giving. 2 Chronicles 9:7. The God that we serve loves to give, and He takes joy in those who take great delight in giving. We also know that the most attractive people to be around are those who are generous and love being so.

What is behind this quality, it is another character trait that is immensely attractive, gratitude. If you are not grateful everything you do for people will be done begrudgingly, and you will never find joy in anything you do. But if you are deeply determined to be grateful then you will begin to find joy in every situation.

I have found that those who are the most generous and grateful tend to be the richest in every part of their lives. I would suggest that the generosity and gratitude cause the richness, not the other way around, indeed I personally have found this to be true in my own life, and there are now a number of studies that show expressing gratitude intentionally will change the outcomes in every area of your life.
